I'm sorry that I didn't post last week. Today's post is about the abc series The Astronaut Wives Club. Many viewers may think that this is just your average run of the mill 50's historical fiction comedy. Well I can see that it's not. It is showing us that these seven astronauts' wives have lives outside of cooking, smiling, and waving. One of them is an engineer, and her husband won't talk to her about any of the tech on the rockets.

So obviously you can tell by the picture that today's post is about Hermione Granger, one of Harry Potter's best friends. Hermione is just sooo intellegent. Malala Yousafzai. How could a name so powerful mean nothing to so many? You may not know this girl's story, so you're about to find out. The day: October 9, 2013. The place: Pakistan. That was when a 15 year old girl was shot in the left side of her face by the Taliban. Malala had been fighting for girls' education. The Taliban didn't even think girls\women should be able to go outside. Malala came so close to dying it's a miracle she lives to this day.
